Read Across America Week
February 28th- To celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday everyone is invited to wear red, white and black. There will be play for K-2.
Also, READ THE MOST FROM COAST to COAST is asking students to read and take Accelerated Reader quizzes this day. We helping to try to reach 5 million quizzes taken nationwide! The first 50 students who take a quiz in school will get a button from AR. Everyone who takes a quiz will get a certificate.
Monday March 3 - Wear a hat
Tuesday March 4 - Crazy Sock Day Contest
Wed. - Wear crazy, mismatched clothes and shoes. The Happy Birthday card contest entries are due.
Thur. - Wear your PJs.
Friday - Wear a red bow tie
These are kid friendly websites organized by Dewey Decimal Classification system - just like the library!
Students type in a word and chooses dictionary, thesaurus or rhyming. Site also has word games - from Merriam-Webster.
